Crear un usuario y una contraseña de SNMP

Para crear un usuario y contraseña para la autentificación con SNMP, se ha de ejecutar el comando net-snmp-create-v3-user de la siguiente manera:

[[email protected] ~]# systemctl stop snmpd
[[email protected] ~]# net-snmp-create-v3-user
Enter a SNMPv3 user name to create:
david
Enter authentication pass-phrase:
Martinez8
Enter encryption pass-phrase:
  [press return to reuse the authentication pass-phrase]
Martinez8
adding the following line to /var/lib/net-snmp/snmpd.conf:
   createUser david MD5 "Martinez8" DES Martinez8
adding the following line to /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf:
   rwuser david
[[email protected] ~]# systemctl start snmpd
[[email protected] ~]# systemctl enabled snmpd
[[email protected] ~]# systemctl status snmpd
● snmpd.service - Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) Daemon.
   Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/snmpd.service; enabled; vendor preset: disabled)
   Active: active (running) since Thu 2019-06-20 07:57:32 UTC; 3s ago
 Main PID: 5114 (snmpd)
   CGroup: /system.slice/snmpd.service
           └─5114 /usr/sbin/snmpd -LS0-6d -f
